by Maui Mobile Spa on 06/20/19

ALOHA From Maui Mobile Spa!

When we talk to our clients about their skin care regimen, one thing we often see is that most people overlook face masks.

Its common to think that face masks have to be expensive, store bought or a lot of work...but we promise, that's not true! In fact, face masks are a very important step in our weekly/monthly skin care regimen.

Here are a few simple face masks, based on ingredients you probably have at home, or can easily purchase...that will take you 1-2 minutes to put together.

Skin Soothing - Hydrating Yogurt and Oatmeal - Perfect for dry, sensitive and sun damaged skin - Use weekly

Directions:
- Grind oatmeal in spice/coffee grinder
- Mix ground oatmeal, yogurt and honey together
- Apply to clean face and décolletage.
- Let mask sit for 5-7 minutes
- Spritz mask every 60-90 seconds with water, rose water, floral hydrosol...or even wet fingertips...in order to keep mask wet at all times!
- Rinse clean with warm to cool water
- Tone, apply serum and moisturizer
- Remember to smile and love yourself!
